How Low Can You Go: A Review of Ocular Manifestations of Hypotony - Dr. Michelle Antonucci
Dr. Michelle Antonucci is currently an Ocular Disease and Primary Care Resident at UCSF. She received both her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Optometry degrees from UC Berkeley. As a California native, she has enjoyed learning and practicing in California but also enjoys traveling abroad in her free time.
Differentiating Diseases of the Lacrimal System - Dr. Olivia Burger
Dr. Burger is the current Primary Care / Contact Lens Resident at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2022. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, she is enjoying exploring California during her residency year. In her spare time, she is a freelance concert photographer and enjoys attending live music concerts and festivals.
Low Vision Rehabilitation of Pathological Myopia - Dr. Kayle Edwards
Dr. Edwards is originally from Florida which is also where she earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. She moved to California to attend optometry school at UC Berkeley and has stayed there as the current Low Vision Rehabilitation Resident. After residency, she plans to continue seeing patients in the Bay Area.
"White Eye Blowout Fracture: Not Your Typical Trauma" - Dr. Madi Sachs
Dr. Madi Sachs is currently completing a pediatric residency at UC Berkeley. She has a special interest in strabismus and amblyopia but also has training in myopia control and pediatric primary care. Outside of patient care, Dr. Sachs is an Associate Investigator for PEDIG and also is involved with myopia control research. She is originally from Minnesota, and while she misses the change of seasons, the amazing food and trails in the Bay Area easily make up for it. When she is not in clinic, you can find Dr. Sachs running, biking, or backpacking.
